[crobat looks at archie then back to tara. more pets first...

archie rolls his eyes.]

[she giggles, and pulls crobat a little closer. yes, more pets! this weird bat thing is turning out to be the cutest.]

So, like, how--uh. How...smart is it? It can communicate with you, and stuff, or...?

Crobat understands basic stuff like commands and strong emotions.

[he crouches down, giving crobat some scritches too.]

It knows when it should be nice to someone, too. It could see you weren't a threat, so it didn't tear your head off.

It's super cute.

[she's quiet, for a little bit. beast boy would like this. he'd probably try to turn into one.]

Are there other crobats?

Yeah, there's a bunch of 'em. They're rare in the wilds, though. Crobats only evolve from Golbats when they feel enough affection towards their trainer. Ain't that right, Cro?

[archie coos and gives crobat ear scratchies. this giant horrible bat chirps happily.]

Wait, so it got big and strong because it loves you a ton? That is the most Saturday afternoon cartoon shit I have ever heard.
